Transmanche 200Km PROFS - Wessex SR Reunion 2001

	Every year there is a reunion for those who have complete the Wessex SR series. This usually involves taking yourself and a friend across to Cherbourg from Poole, and doing a 200Km loop around the Cherbourg Peninsula.

	We all met up at the Poole ferry terminla ready to board the Barfleur. On the other side of the channel, we we're due to meet up with DaAave Lewis and Anne Learmouth, and Nick Peregrine and Jenny who had been touring in France.

	After the long climb out of Cherbourg, it was of into some very quiet country lanes. At this time of year in France, you wonder where everyone is.

	After only going off route about 3 times we catch up with the group at "Bar du Port" in Carteret, on the west coast the first control point.
