Lizard - Cornwall - where the most modern technoligies stand alongside ancient history.

Time flies - August 4th and it's time for the Granite & Serpentine Way again.
165Km - 100 miles near enough of some of Cornwalls best scenery.

Turn left out of the football club. It's a bit grey but the promise of better stuff later. I rush past a few small groups to catch up with the others from Torbay CTC, and just as we turn right into to first of the country lanes, there's a great pile of gravel and stones in the road.
I miss most of it but a large impact on the rear wheel is soon followed by the thudding of a flat!
Greeting everyone as they fly past as I wrestle with an unreasonably tight tyre, eventually I'm back on the road, at the back of the field.
